Gravity forms conditionals for fields while keeping alignment in place

Just wanted to mention here that in the new block style layout that was introduced within Gravity forms where you resize the fields within a row. It’s a nice touch, however, I don’t think this was thought out thoroughly in the sense that what if I want to swap a field with another while maintaining the same column on the same row using a condition? This would have me go back to using gravity forms built-in classes for this, using gf_left_third, gf_middle_third, and gf_right_third and duplicate the class for the swapped fields. I understand that the classes still exist and make this possible (which is GREAT and the only reason these classes are still VERY important imo). But shouldn’t this have been thought of in the new layout design? Please, let’s not forget about this if you folks ever do decide to remove those built-in classes.
