I upgrade from 2.5.xxx to 2.7.3. I have inherited this from a developer that we no longer have contact with so I cannot log a support ticket even though it has a valid licence (it’s not mine and therefore I don’t have an account).
My problem is, after upgrading I am unable to edit existing forms or even create new ones? The existing forms on my website appear to be working thankfully. Clicking on blocks in the form to edit or clicking Create New Form does nothing? Has anyone seen this before or no the solution?
I’m unable to replicate the issue in a default WordPress installation. That suggests it is something specific to your site.
I would recommend performing a conflict test. Due to the nature of the issue, the conflict test should be performed manually following the steps described here: https://docs.gravityforms.com/testing-for-a-themeplugin-conflict/
Note that for a valid conflict test, the first test must be done with only Gravity Forms enabled. All other plugins should be disabled , and a default WordPress theme without custom code should be used (e.g. Twenty Twenty-One).
If you don’t feel comfortable doing this in the live site, try creating a staging clone or sandbox setup for testing.
Thank you @sacom for your reccomendation. I have found the culprit to be the Code Snippets plugin. Any suggestion on the way forward from here?
It’s most likely a code within the code snippet plugin causing the issue. The next step will be to disable the codes within the code snippet plugin one after the other to identify the exact code causing this. You’ll need to be familiar with the codes to do this, or else you may disable a code being used on a live form.
Best,
