For some reason, this forum editor is not allowing me to paste in css… Trying to attach a screenshot. (There is only one line of css reference in the page source, so maybe that has something to do with it?)
If that really is the only CSS file that is loading on that page, then that is definitely the problem. When you view the front end of the site, do you see the three stylesheets I listed in my last message?
If you go to Gravity Forms → Settings, have you turned off the “Output default CSS” setting?
Everything is ‘Off’ on that page. The settings are exactly as i’ve imported the project. I assume they should be ‘On’? I will turn it on and try again. Should “Output HTML5?” also be turned on? Everything in the settings page is set to ‘Off’.
And yes, turning “output default CSS” to “On” WAS in fact the issue. Thank you SO much for your help, i truly appreciate it! Now, i gotta figure out how to style these things and customize the submit button and i’m off to the races.
Can you confirm that i “Output HTML5?” should also be turned on? Any other suggestions in those settings?
THANK YOU for your help!
Yay, glad that fixed it! HTML5 should be turned on, and it’s a good idea to turn on automatic background updates too.
Yes, thank you so much! Just to be clear as to the solution for those coming later that have this problem:
- On the left menu bar, go to Forms->Settings.
- Make sure that the option for “Output default CSS” is toggled to yes (and do the same for “Output HTML5”) for sure.
My form is looking/acting much better, got a couple of things that don’t make sense, but i’ll post them under another topic if i can’t figure them out.
thanks again Morgan!
