Stripe integration - what's on the receipt?

For the Stripe Integration and using the Stripe Payment Form (Stripe Checkout) it is not clear what exactly goes on the receipt when it is enabled for the form.

The Forms have a product field with different tiers of event/conference attendee, a total field, and each Form has a Stripe Feed. The feed is configured to send receipts.

It is crucial for attendee reimbursement with their employer and/or their professional taxes for there to be the type of attendee and the price on the receipt sent by Stripe.

The admin handling registrations complained that last year they got hit with piles of email requesting receipts and had to create them all manually which seems like something avoidable with Gravity + Stripe if the receipts had the necessary information.

We simply want to confirm what is going on the receipts being sent out and there isn’t really a good description anywhere or a way to test.

We can’t turn the site into Stripe test mode because its live and forms are live.

I don’t think the confirmation email from Gravity is particularly suitable as a receipt substitute since it is not a payment receipt (users can abandon at the Stripe checkout page)… Unless it only sends that after successful payment (this is also not clear)??

It would also be good to know what would be on the receipt for the Stripe field when using Stripe Checkout.

It would also be good to know how the receipt would be for Stripe Field / Stripe Elements in case we switch to that.

I know in both cases with Stripe API there are various character limits and restrictions so that would also be very good to understand. For example maybe the receipt does have the Product on it however the attendee type was getting cut off?

In general it would be great if the docs covered the user scenario from the perspective of an admin or accountant vs. strictly an integrator / developer, it would really help the overall experience with Gravity. Please advise if a doc exists, I couldn’t find one like that?
