Possible bug with gf-download links?

Hello,

I’ve been troubleshooting a recent issue with one of our Gravity Forms where website visitors can attach files to the forms being submitted. It seems that when downloading any of the attachments, either by the links in the notification email or from the entries page in WordPress the files are being corrupted. I’ve done a diff of the files and found the corrupted version contains and additional character \x0a prior to the file payload. Is this a known bug?

Any insight into this issue would be very much appreciated.

Themes and plugins that include extra hidden characters in their .php files, after closing php tags, can cause this issue. See the following page of the documentation:
