My WordPress website keeps on crashing and showing critical error message when upgrading to latest version of PHP. This are the error shown on Console Log of Chrome inspect element - Screenshot by Lightshot
The notices in the screenshot indicate the site is running a very old version of the plugin. You’ll either need to update to the latest version of Gravity Forms or downgrade the PHP version.
Hello, Sir!
I’m using a latest version of Gravity Forms - Screenshot by Lightshot
My main issue is I want to update to latest version of PHP but when I’m doing it, my site keeps on crashing and saying critical error as mentioned on my first post here. I just really need to fix this one because I’m planning to use other plugins that needs a latest update of PHP version and now I can’t do it because there are conflicts on Gravity Forms.
Help me to fix this please.
Thank you!
Version 2.2.2.2 was released in 2017. The latest auto-update version, which was released last month, is 2.9.2. You can find the plugin changelog here: Gravity Forms Changelog - Gravity Forms Documentation
Hello!
In short, do I need to purchased a license to update Gravity Forms to latest version? Is there any assurance that it will fix the issue within the conflict on my site when updating to latest PHP version? As right now, the forms I created from Gravity Forms are only in free version.
There’s never been a free version of Gravity Forms. You will need to purchase a license to access updates. Updating will resolve the issue because the latest versions are compatible with PHP versions 7.0 to 8.3. Testing with PHP 8.4 is still in progress, but there are no errors so far.
