Hi everyone, I’m experiencing an issue where a Gravity Forms submission works correctly when configured directly within Gravity Forms, but it fails when embedding the same form through Elementor on my WordPress site. Here are some details about the problem:
Shortcode Used: I embedded the Gravity Forms form via a shortcode in an Elementor widget. I made sure that the shortcode is correct and complete.
Observed Issue: When the form is embedded through Elementor, it appears correctly but fails to submit the data to the external party. Additionally, the registrations (specifically for new member sign-ups) from a particular form are not going through. No error messages are shown, but the data isn’t transmitted.
Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
Verified that the shortcode was correctly inserted and that there are no additional attributes affecting functionality.
Checked for JavaScript errors via the browser console, and found none that seemed directly related to the form.
Tested without custom CSS in Elementor that might interfere with form functionality.
Disabled other plugins to rule out conflicts, but the issue persists.
Verified Gravity Forms notifications and confirmation settings to ensure they are correct.
Technical Details:
WP version: 6.7.1
Gravity Forms Version: 2.9
Elementor Version: 3.25.10
Could you provide any guidance on how to resolve this issue? Specifically, I’m looking for any known compatibility problems with Elementor or recommended settings/configuration to ensure proper data submission when embedding via Elementor.
If you need more information (e.g., screenshots of settings, specific error logs), I’m happy to provide them. Thanks!
