Is this possible in Gravity Forms? Challenge!

We use Gravity Forms for our online ballots. We use a points system that works the following way: within a category, voters have a certain amount of points (say 30) to award - they can assign each nominee 0 points or a max of 10 points.

Easy enough - we achieve this through simple number fields (one per nominee) and have a final number field with calculation to ensure they’ve done the right math and the total is indeed 30 points (or otherwise issues a conditional warning). This has worked well for a number of years …but here’s the catch that Gravity Forms has not been able to help us with: they are only allowed to award that maximum (10 points) to ONE nominee. In other words, once they type 10 into one of the fields, they should not be able to type 10 into any other in that category (on the form there are three categories of nominees for separate positions in which this occurs)

Is there any way to do this in Gravity Forms? Willing to pay an experienced developer (with references) to assist in implementing.

Hi @user5a18c2cbb1ebb9.3

Yes, we can set the condition where the maximum ( 10 Points ) can be awarded only to one nominee.

It can be done using JS and then custom PHP in validation.

Please contact me using the following link and we can discuss this in detail.
