For a quotation request setup, we like to see if we can use the Gravityflow parent/child extension.
Scenario:
Parent form holds the request data and approval flow
Child form holds our advice, offer, pricing etc.
questions:
How/when is a child entry created within the parent form flow?
How to access data from the parent in the child form entry?
And vice versa?
Is the form connector extension the only way or does the parent/child form extension has its own mechanism for this?
We know you can create a new child entry from the inbox page, but we like to keep this all as compact as possible within the main flow.
Considering the documentation for the extension is kind of spars and an internet search doesn’t really turn up that much more insights, I hope this forum can shed some light on the matter.
