Gravity Forms Mailchimp problems email signups not sending

I’m having trouble with a client’s Gravity Forms Mailchimp email signups. They are set to ‘Double Opt-in’ but the ‘Confirm Opt-in’ emails are not always being sent. I have made sure that the sending email is verified and completed the DNS for domain authentication.

For example gmail.com/protonmail.com address signups appear to be working as expected, where the user receives an email and clicks a subscribe button to confirm their signup.

Email on other domains are not receiving any opt-in email. I tested this with my own email and went through my email support to check that the email was not being lost somewhere in the system. They tell me that they have checked the logs and it looks like the email was ever sent, or at least never reached them.

Does anyone have any experience with this situation?

This was resolved via support.

Working as expected, if a subscriber is removed/unsubs from a Mailchimp audience list, they cannot resubscribe due to gdpr/cpra issues. This is a Mailchimp limitation, not a GravityForms limitation.
