I decided to try the new drag and drop zones in 2.5.8. I started with a new form, without any additional styles. Verified that Legacy Markup is Off. Added an address field. Then on a second row added two more fields in a two column layout.
The two new text fields display one on top of another, instead of beside each other. Any ideas how to correct short of switching back to the old short code methodology?
Hi Robert. What you are experiencing is not normal. It sounds like you have cached information after installing the update, or you have a conflict with some other software on the site. First, clear your browser cache (or use a new browser to log in again), and any caching plugin cache on the site or caching on the server.
Then, log out of the dashboard and log in with a new browser. See if the form builder looks as expected. If not, the next step is probably to check for conflicts on the site. You can use these steps:
