We’re having a problem with the “From Name” and “From Email” in the user notifications. Most forms use ‘clients@ourcompany.co.za’ as our email, but for one form, we’ve set the “From” name, email and reply-to as ‘status@ourcompany.co.za’. It is a registered inbox in our DNS. But in the email users receive it says:
@design2 It seem that you are using google SMTP to send email. When you configure SMTP to send email then STMP configuration are mainly send to avoid Spoofing, this is the reason you only use clients@ourcompany.co.za. If your SMTP plugin support multiple SMTP connection then probably that help here.
We’ve poked around in settings but aren’t sure where we can fix this.
Could you please share your SMTP settings? Also, please export the form, upload on a file sharing website such as Google Drive, then share so I can test on my sandbox website to find the root cause of the issue. Thank you
