Date Field Conditional Logic for Gravity Forms

Hi,
I want to have people pick a date and use this date (day of birth) to be a conditional logic for another field. However, if i want to add the conditional logic field, the date field can not be choosen from the list…
Is there a way to do this? Pls advise
