Where Can I Find Demos and Screenshots? | Gravity Forms Bookings [RESOLVED]

Howdy!

  1. Where can I find live demos and screenshots for your plugin, Gravity Forms Bookings? I searched, couldn’t find any. As a minimum, screenshots for the frontend (showing different booking calendar configurations, time zone selector, etc.) would be helpful.
  2. Does the plugin offer a custom CSS field option so I can restyle, for example, the frontend booking calendar?
  3. As mentioned in another post, it’s quite confusing when searching for the “real stuff.” Example: https://www.gravityforms.com/add-ons/bookings-for-gravity-forms/ is not part of the “real stuff.” Cleaning up some of your search results links would be nice – and helpful.

Cheerio!

Hey Jonathan,

Thanks so much for the questions!

  1. For live demos and screenshots, your best reference will be our official GP Bookings documentation. That page will always have the most up-to-date screenshots, new settings, etc. We also frequently publish articles, such as this one, that go into more depth regarding real-world use cases.
  2. While the plugin doesn’t have any CSS “field settings” yet, the Booking Time field is still customizeable via your own custom CSS. Currently, we’ve added multiple custom selectors to make this styling easier, and we would be more than happy to help if your theme isn’t cooperating nicely with what’s provided.
  3. This is completely fair frustration, but is a bit of a tricky issue, since the “Bookings for Gravity Forms” linked is another legitimate plugin. At Gravity Wiz, our marketing team does everything possible to make sure links for official GP Bookings resources show up early and often in those results, but I fear that fully removing links to other plugins isn’t in scope.

Hoping that’s helpful, and please don’t hesitate to reach out via our Support if you have any additional questions!

Thanks, J Yeager!

  1. That helps. Live demos (accessible to the public for testing prior to purchase), would be nice. Note: I like the time zone feature of your plugin (as explained in your plugin’s documentation).

  2. That works, of course. I can query the plugin to add our own CSS styling. Also, can we use 1. Gravity Forms Code Chest as well? Is it compatible with your plugin? And last, is it possible to style your booking calendar to look like the booking calendar below (it’s what we use via gAppointments)? If not, offering different booking calendar style options in the future would extremely helpful.

  3. I understand. There are so many “Gravity Forms Bookings” type plugins/add-ons out there. Yikes!

Thanks again :sun:

Hey Jonathan,

Thanks for the kind words!

Glad the timezone feature stood out to you.

Here’s a gist for the CSS part that should help you get started with styling the calendar closer to your gAppointments setup:

You can definitely tweak it further to suit your needs.

And yes, using Gravity Forms Code Chest alongside GP Bookings is totally fine and compatible as well.

I also agree that having a few built-in calendar style presets/themes in the future could be really helpful. :+1:

Thanks again for all the thoughtful feedback! :sun:

Thanks, Glenn! People like you always make the world a better place. Cheerio!
