Trying to use populate anything for utilizing live merge tags in an html block but nothing is happening. It just renders the tag as a string as is {1}. I also do not see any settings or enable options in the form settings for ‘Enable Live Merge Tags’ for the html block.

Live Merge Tags use an @ symbol before the merge tag. Please try updating the Live Merge Tag in your HTML field to @{:1} and see if that resolves the issue.
