Populate Hidden Field

Hi,

We wish to populate a hidden field with a value selected/entered from a drop-down field and text field. Can this be done with merge tags? If not, how can this be achieved?

This can be done with the Live Merge tags feature of GP Populate Anything Perk.

Will Gravity Forms allow merge tags out of the box at all or do you always require an additional plugin?
