Partial payment/down payment based on a percentage of total price

Dear GF community,

I am wondering if it is possible to enable partial payments/down payments based on a percentage of the total price. Right before someone is about to make the payment. E.g. after completing several steps, the total price is €1.000.

We then want a lead/customer to make a 25% down payment (€250). What are the possibilities to do so?

If there is no such option, how about auto-applying a discount/coupon code? (E.g. 75% gets automatically substracted at the end of the process.)

Your help is much appreciated, thanks!

Best Regards,

David

Hi David. You can add a Product field to your form, and enable the calculation. The calculation will be the sum of all the product and option fields in your form, e.g.:

({Product One:24} + {Product Two:29} + {Another Product: 70}) * 0.25

Then, use this calculated Product field as the amount to be collected by your payment add-on. The amount will be 1/4 of the product total (original total) for the form. If you have any questions, please let us know.

Hi Chris, thank you for your help. Can the sum of all the chosen products be automatically calculated? (I still need to purchase GF, so I can’t take a look myself right now.)

Also, I am wondering if attachments, such as pictures and the signature, can be uploaded to Zoho CRM. Is an automatic transfer of such files to Zoho CRM possible, or does it have to be done manually?

Your help is much appreciated, thanks!

Best Regards,

David

Hi David. If everything you need to add up and multiply by 25% is a product or option field, then you can use this free plugin to give yourself a subtotal automatically, which you can then multiply by 0.25 to get a 25% deposit:

If you use our Zoho CRM Add-On, files that are uploaded in the form can be sent to Zoho:
