I watched multiple videos of the Open AI demo that have a merge tag enable check off setting in the open ai form’s settings.
I purchased populate anything enabled it and merge tags, but I do not see the check off box. (Shown in the photo)
Also, does Gravity forms or anyone have a demo using Open AI to generate text on the page from an input field? Thanks!
Hey Melissa, not sure if you’ve already reached out to our support but definitely the fastest place to get an answer on any of our products.
With that said, it sounds like you’re using the OpenAI Connection (part of our Gravity Connect suite) which is a bit different (and much more powerful) than our free OpenAI plugin.
With GC OpenAI, you’ll want to use the OpenAI Stream field instead of Live Merge Tags.
If you want still want to use the response in other fields, you can use Live Merge Tags (without having to check any other buttons) using the Stream field’s ID for the LMT.

So, to confirm I should be using the Open AI feed setting for my form rather than dragging and dropping the Open AI component in my forms editor? Right now I am using both.
