Make a checkbox selectable only after clicking a link?

Hi,

I have received a request from a client that I have never had before. They want to add an important document to an enrollment form as an external link. Then they would like to add a checkbox, but only allow the checkbox to be selected AFTER the link was opened.

I found a Terms of Service add-on that does pretty much what they’re asking except the text is embedded within the form and not an external link. Any ideas for accomplishing this with an external link?

Have you taken a look at the new(ish) Consent field in Gravity Forms?

That is not an external link either, but a version history of the terms that were consented to is kept.
