Intermittent gravity forms submission error

75% of people who try to register are fine, but some people who try to use Gravity registration form receive this error:

Oops! It looks like we’re having trouble processing your request. To resolve this issue, please try clearing your browser cache and then refreshing the page.

The error shows up directly underneath the stripe credit card form

I turned on logging and the registration attempt doesn’t even hit the gravity form core log, or the stripe log.

I have no conflict mode turned on as well. If anyone has any thoughts, that would be much appreciated!

Caching and optimization plugins and services have been known to cause issues like this.
