I am met with this issue:
Akismet is either inactive or not installed.

I have tried installing the plugin from Add-ons and from manually downloading it from the website. I am getting spammed. How do I get this plugin to work??

To use the Akismet add-on, you’ll need to install the main Akismet plugin from the WordPress plugin directory:
