Just wondering if I’m doing something wrong: I wanted to test the new(ish) Stripe options (Stripe card and Stripe payment form). My naive thinking was that switching Stripe connection from live client to my own Stripe test account would be easy.
However, when I want to switch, the “Stripe: Connect with Gravity Forms by rocketgenius” page wants to “Activate my account” and also refuses to work using test IBAN numbers.
Do I really have to enter real live banking IBAN numbers to use Stripe’s test mode? That seems… unwise.
Without connecting Stripe and GF, the form simply does not display anything, at all, on preview or live, as soon as a Stripe Card field is inserted. I’m not sure that’s the best way to indicate that something is not yet set up correctly on (my guess) the forms Stripe feed.
Also: there’s no way to use conditional display with a Stripe payment form, is there?
Actually, I found out that there’s no need to connect Stripe for testing. The UI for this is, at best, not very clear, IMHO, and one has read the guide pretty carefully to notice https://docs.gravityforms.com/downloading-installing-the-stripe-add-on/ > Mode > 4. Fill out the form and click the “Authorize access to this account” button. Alternatively, if you are using Stripe in development mode, you can click the “Skip this account form” link at the top of the page.
