Hello @chrishajer, I left a comment concerning the ongoing usability issue with the checkbox portion of the fix (along with this detailed video. @WP-Stars, if interested, the error starts at 4:40 seconds). That comment appears to have been removed?!? Is that the case (as I cannot find it), and if so, why? Please advise

Samuel opened an issue with the product team for that one.
Regarding your original issue with the checkbox and the PayPal Checkout Add-On, I opened an issue with the product team, but the issue has not yet been addressed. I don’t have a timeframe for when that might be addressed.

Nope. I did a detailed reply to this thread with more info on the checkbox issue with the fix. It was somewhat late after a long day …maybe I deleted it, unawares. That would suck since I edited the dang thing three times 
Anyway, “no timeframe” …thanks for the update.
