Hey folks. I’m moving as much away from Google as possible with my clients and my own sites. This means reCAPTCHA. Anyone using alternatives or other methods to reduce spam?

hCaptcha has been cropping up a lot. I read Cloudflare switched to this service recently from reCaptcha. I like hCaptcha. There is a GF hCaptcha plugin in the WP repo.
I tried a couple of puzzle based alternatives a few years back. People had trouble solving them. If you want to test your visitors before they comment then maybe a puzzle based captcha will suit your needs.
