I recently started getting reports from one client at least who cannot access the GF Entries Download. They can access the area, but as soon as he selects a form from the dropdown, he gets an error and unable to proceed. Sounds identical to this problem:
I’d post there but it’s closed already. Like her post, the scenario is identical, but I didn’t want to risk changing capabilities.
Curious if a fix is out yet.
Hi Blake. Based on the information here, your issue does sound the same. The Product team is aware of the issue, and is working on a fix. That fix is not available yet.
If your issue is the same, adding the gravityforms_edit_forms capability to your user role will resolve the issue until we release a fix.

This was fixed in version 2.6.1.2 which is available from the downloads page for manual installation following the steps at How to Manually Update Gravity Forms - Gravity Forms Documentation
