I want to implement pagination tracking for my form with Google Analytics, but I don’t appear to have any merge tags available relating to pagination. The form is setup for pagination and has the steps named etc. and a progress bar. I have looked through the documentation, but I don’t see any merge tags I can use for the event data.
Are there any merge tags available for pagination details such as the current page number?
I ended up taking a different approach to get the pagination/step information and used a DOM Element variable in GTM targeting the class .gf_progressbar_title.
Thank you for posting that workaround. The product team is aware of the missing merge tags and has an issue open to address this in an upcoming release.
