Unable to create Stripe Checkout session

Hi All, I hope you are having a lovely day. I am in need of assistance please. I had an Elite License but am no longer in the position to pay for this and therefore cannot get the official help. If anyone could help me, I’d be amazingly grateful

Specifically;

  1. I want to create a Stripe checkout on my website. E.g. user fills basic details then it submits to a stripe checkout.

  2. I have done this before on other sites, it works fine. I install the add-on (Stripe 3.3.1) for stripe, then connect to stripe. Setup web hook, Input the details

  3. This time. On a new site, it has weird issues:
    • Connecting to the Stripe account, the error logs suggest no API key is provided
    • An error that Unable to create Stripe Checkout session

  4. It has some weird issue where it does not say which stripe account it connects to in the settings, and keeps jumping from “Live” to “Test”. . Maybe some authentication issue

I’d really appreciate any help.

Hello Arthur. The issue you’re having with the API connection can be resolved by updated to the latest release, v3.7. Are you still trying to use version 3.3.1? If so, you will need to renew your license and upgrade your Stripe plugin (and possibly other plugins.) Thank you.

hello chris. I appreciate your response. I am thankful.
I am a broken man and cannot afford the elite license for this one amendment. I need the stripe to transact . I LOVE Your team and all the hard work you and the team do, but for this bug fix… can anything be done to help please? is there any work around as this api thing is pushing me into difficult territory…
