I am trying to add a custom message for any field that is required. I’ve already been able to add it to the error that says, " There was a problem with your submission. Please review the fields below.", but I can’t find the correct field for the field error message. Any help? Thanks!

To add custom error/validation messages for each field, try the “Custom Error Messages for Gravity Forms” plugin, which is available for free.
It will allow you to set custom messages like the one in the following screenshot.
