Stripe payment error

Hi everyone,

I am receiving the below error when using the latest stripe elements feature.

There was a problem with your submission: Invalid source object: must be a dictionary or a non-empty string. See API docs at Stripe Documentation

I don’t have REcapture installed and wondering if anyone else has installed this and knows what could possibly be the cause?

A couple of things to check, Harry:

  • Do you have ‘Enable Additional Payment Methods’ checked? or Unchecked? Check the configuration for both and see if that makes a difference in your case.
  • Do you have multiple Stripe Forms on the same page? If you do, try it with only one form on the page. There’s a known issue that our development team is aware of when there are multiple stripe forms embedded on the same page.

If neither of those work, I’d recommend opening a Support Ticket.
