I saw this on a client’s site. Lots and lots of these in the view source

Is this by okay or should I be concerned?

That’s not normal. The line to define the strings should be present, but only once. There is most likely a conflict on the site causing this. I recommend using these steps to check for theme and plugin conflicts:
