I’m using advanced post creation to make some kind of serviceticket-system. So the posts are organized in categories and sub-categories. In the form i use a dropdown field wich is automatically populated with the category hiearchy. Very nice!
When I choose a child category in the dropdown menu the parent is not ticked in the post.
Wat is the recommend solution or workaroud for this?
If you want the parent category to be selected as well, you’ll need to manually map that category when configuring the feed.
You can suggest updating the categories feature to automatically handle this scenario directly to the product management team for consideration when planning future releases on the Gravity Forms product roadmap page.
