Hey everyone. A long-time Gravity Forms user here. I’ve just released a suite of 5 plugins that extend GF into a document automation platform. Thought they might be of interest.
The core idea: build a form, link it to a Word template, and when someone submits the form they get a polished .docx with all the right data, conditional sections, and formatting.
The suite:
- GravityMerge AI: the merge engine (form → Word docx file)
- GravityMerge AI Architect: upload a document, AI generates the form + template
- GravityMerge AI Template Designer: visual template editor inside WordPress
- GravityMerge AI Template to Form: upload a template, it creates the GF form from the merge tags
- GravityMerge AI Report Builder: AI-generated narrative reports from structured form data (using Claude instead of an underlying formulaic template).
I’ve been involved with document automation plugins for Gravity Forms since 2018 (some of you may know the GM Templated DOCX and GM HTML to DOCX plugins). The AI suite is the next generation - a rebuilt merge engine, cleaner syntax, and new tools for a range of form-to-document workflows.
