Ok, a little off-topic but I wanted to share some thoughts I had while we were developing this product.
With the power of AI, I sometimes wrestle with whether it is better to focus on more complex functionality or simple features like this. I think the balance is in the extremes.
Dead Simple Plugins: These are simple, scoped features with near-universal appeal. With these plugins, the benefit is clear. An existing option that works (and often is free) is better than starting from scratch and working through the myriad of edge cases yourself.
Ridiculously Complex Plugins: These are thoughtful, battle-tested plugins based on a decade+ of Gravity Forms expertise. You would end up spending more in AI tokens to build these than you would just paying a yearly license.
Of the two, GF Autogrow is clearly a Dead Simple Plugin that aims to provide a feature that delights form users with all the edge cases already ironed out for you. And it’s free.
Would love to hear the communities thoughts on which plugins make the most sense for them in our fast-paced AI world?
