Issue Setting Up MailChimp Feed

Hi, I’ve been using GravityForms for years, i purchased a new license last night for a new site, set up GF, added the MailChimp add on, created my form, then went through the process of creating a MailChimp feed so I can map my form fields to MailChimp,

I keep getting this error message with a big red exclamation on the field for “email”:
There was an error while saving your settings.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how to resolve this. Has anyone else had this issue?

I am running the latest version of GF.

Hi Brian. The product team are aware of the issue but have not yet implemented a fix. There is a work around though:

  • Add another email field to the form
  • Save the form
  • Create a feed that is mapped to the second email field
  • Save the feed
  • Switch the email field in your feed to the original email field
  • Save the feed
  • Delete second email field from form
