How do I delete a notification in Settings when it is not "active"?

My predecessor made this form so I am not sure how it was set up and what caused this problem.

In Form Settings I have “Save and Continue” enabled.

In Notifications I have notifications to the admin, submitter and a “save & continue”. These all make sense.

But I also have a “Delete Data” which is throwing an error email message “An error occurred. Your message was not sent” each time a form is submitted.

I would like to delete this notification but because it is not in ‘active’ status, there is no delete button. Is there any way to delete or disable it?

Hi there,

Could you please confirm your Gravity Forms version? I am using the latest version, 2.9.26, which has no issues deleting active or inactive notifications.

How was that delete data notification added and what event is it sent on?

Event is “form is submitted”.
I have no idea how the notification was added, it was done by the previous webmaster.

Could you please export the form, upload on Google Drive or Dropbox, and then share the URL so I can download and try to reproduce the issue on my sandbox and then try to find a way to resolve it?

As you’ve enabled the Save and Continue option, it’s added that specific notification. Then for personal data delete request, it’s added another one. If you prefer, I can modify the JSON file which will exclude both.

Let me know what’s your plan.
