Gravity Forms / Stripe addon Carding (Spam)

We’re using Gravity Forms with the Stripe addon on our site and have recently encountered an issue. Our Stripe dashboard shows a number of low-value transactions (0.50p) that appear to be automated “carding” attempts. However, these payment attempts aren’t reflected in our Gravity Forms entries.

This raises a couple of questions:

  • Does Gravity Forms only save fully completed submissions for reporting purposes?
  • What strategies can we adopt to guard against this kind of malicious activity?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
