Gravity Forms and Paypal [RESOLVED]

Hello GF Community!

I have a bit of an odd question, and very likely the answer is very obvious, but I’m going to ask anyway. I have a client that we create forms for, and they are using PayPal as their payment gateway. My usual first step when setting up is copying the form’s name and pasting it in the Feed Name (http://prntscr.com/rc95g2). I assumed that the Feed Name would appear on PayPal when the transaction goes through.

My odd question is, DOES the Feed Name show up on PayPal’s end so they know where each transaction comes from? My client is saying that they need to be able to separate the funds from fundraisers from the funds from donations and it’s not doing that.

The feed name doesn’t go through, but you can change the description sent for the payment using a filter hook. I blogged about this a while back:
