Form submission email notification failing

I’ve gotten these errors and unable to send notification from any form on my site. Just started today

‘WordPress was unable to send the notification email. Could not instantiate mail function.’
‘WordPress was unable to send the notification email.’

Any ideas what would be cause of this?
