We’re using our forms with elementor as popups. We’re experiencing some conflicts with the forms just hiding after clicking the submit button and just showing the error if we click on the pop up button again. We tried changing ajax set to true but after doing so, nothing happens when we click on the submit button.
This seems to (according to Google results) be a known, ongoing issue with Elementor (for years). Perhaps try a different popup method?
