I have created two columns.
column 1 is 6 checkboxes
column 2 is single line text
How do I add 6 single-line texts?

What you’re getting is expected, columns are based on fields, so you can align one field alongside another field. But you can’t put 6 different fields aligned alongside choices of a single field.
There’s no built-in way to do it. Your best bet would be to hire a developer to create a custom solution for you.
