Creating two columns without spacing below single line text fields

I am trying to create a form where the paragraph is to the right and 5 single line text fields are to the left. The issue I’m having is I’ve played with all types of css and can’t get it to happen. If I drag the paragraph field to the left of the first single line text fields, it just makes the remaining continue on the next row instead of being right next to it. Any ideas?
