Hello,
Recently, our client rolled out DMARC on their email server (through GoDaddy). While we did not know about this initially, we began noticing emails going to our junk mails or not arriving in our inbox at all. More recently, we are seeing several non-spam (real) emails being triggered as not sending with the following message: could not instantiate mail function. It seems the emails that are sending are indeed delivering to their internal team, on the same server…however, as monitors of their email, we are on the recipients list and use Outlook and Gmail. We aren’t receiving any messages.
Is there anyway we can influence this from our end, or is this a server issue that their IT team needs to fix? We do not see any spam settings or anything like that built into Gravity. Finally, our programmer discussed possibly adding an SMTP function. We don’t believe this will help, but wanted to know what your professional team thinks.
FYI: we have used Gravity with this site for about six years with no issue, so this is definitely a recent issue.
Thanks in advance for your advice!
