Declined credit cards causing form to fail

Hi everyone, I have searched high and low and can’t find a reason to why my form ‘disappears’ after entering an invalid credit card.
I’m doing some testing and am using Stripe add-on to successfully send payments.
But when I test any invalid cards for certain responses, my form disappears. There is no error message to be seen, nothing when I inspect the page in Chrome.

Turned on logging and can see I get a response back from Stripe saying ‘invalid credit card’, but why would it not show to the user within the Credit Card field.

No ticket entry gets created either. and no notification to the user which is good.

There are no other feeds on the form.

Any suggestions from the community are greatly appreciated.
