Create File Upload copy when using Dropbox add on

Hi All,

I’m using the Dropbox add-on to upload documents from the file upload field, but is there anyway to also create a copy of the document and store it in wordpress? I want to be able to access the document on my website using Gravity View in the front-end, but moving the Dropbox document makes the link null.

Hi Ethan. By default, the Dropbox Add-On will delete the local file, but you can prevent that, so the local file remains, using this filter:

Take a look at that and let us know if you have any questions. Thank you.

Thank you so much for the quick response! I used this filter earlier but was unable to find a way to connect it to the form. I’m using Gravity View to present the link to the file on the front end, but I can’t seem to find a way to link the local file with the form entry so that it accesses the local version rather than the Dropbox upload. Is there anyway to resolve this? Thank you again.

Hi Ethan. Have you checked with GravityView support regarding that usage?
