Changing the amount on a stripe subscription

We have a subscriber on an old stripe subscription. Use has asked to change amount, which I’ve done on stripe. But she still gets an email from the notify setting on the stripe setting that has the old amount on it. Very confusing. What can I do?
(We’re also getting two notifications form every subscription and I can’t figure that out either.)
