Good morning,
We do not expect agreement, but we do expect civility within the terms of this forum.
You received a very detailed answer to your question, but if you are unsatisfied with the reasoning provided there and you are at all concerned with any of the system installation data that is collected for version checks and license key enforcement, then you can submit a Support ticket requesting for your account to be deleted, which will remove all identifying information held within all our systems.
Hope that helps.
I’ve relisted the thread. It was delisted because you continue to violate the terms of this forum by not keeping the conversation civil.
See those guidelines here: FAQ - Gravity Forms
This post is a good example of that as once again you choose to attack.
If I was afraid of conversation I wouldn’t have replied to your previous thread with a very detailed and thorough response.
We’ve explained how and why our update and licensing system works in detail. If it’s not acceptable to you there are plenty of alternative WordPress form solutions available.
If the update check is executing on every page load on your development environment than something is not behaving properly on your development environment as that is not how it is designed to work.
