Suddenly all of my forms are giving errors stating the the required fields need to be filled in, even after all fields are updated and saved to not required:
“Please fill in the required fields highlighted in red below.”
Any idea’s on where to troubleshoot this?
Currently running version 2.9.0 with a licensed version
Last successful form submission apears to have been early this morning around 1:20am EST 11/14/24
Also noticed, that if I use the preview option when editing the form, it submits fine, but when the form is viewed live on our site, it keeps giving the required fields error when none of the fields are set for required.
Edit - upon disabling re-captcha (version 1.6.0) the forms are all working again
If the page is cached or the scripts optimized, that can cause JavaScript errors, that prevent the reCAPTCHA script adding the score to the submission. When the hidden input for the score is empty, that does trigger a general form validation error.
Some issues here! Nothing has been changed since the last submission, but suddenly one (or all) of the required checkbox fields cause errors for not being checked, even though they have been checked.
We also have discovered reCaptcha errors out of nowhere.
For what it’s worth: I switched reCaptcha from v3 back to v2, things seem to be working. Not sure this is your problem, but let’s hope this gets fixed soon.
Problem is, V2 is doing a horrible job at eliminating the spam messages I get from public forms. I’ve tried re-issuing V3 keys but its still not working. Every time I re-enable v3 keys in the Gravity Forms settings, all my forms revert back to the same original error that required fields havent been filled out.
