I have several Gravity Forms donation and payment forms that integrate with PayPal which kick back a field review error in the front-end of my site. When I click the PayPal button on the form, it opens a PayPal login window, and when logged in it shows the Complete Purchase button. After clicking it I’m redirected to the form page which displays the following message at the top of the form: " There was a problem with your submission. Please review the fields below." No fields are highlighted in the form, all required fields had been completed. The forms submit fine in Preview — PayPal makes the payment and all notification emails are sent. To troubleshoot, I’ve tried switching to a default “Twenty…” theme and they still fail. I’ve disabled all plugins (except Gravity Forms plugins) and the forms still fail. The log mentioned something to do with not getting a transaction ID. Has anyone encountered this scenario? Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for any help.
There is a known issue where a validation error can occur if the reCAPTCHA Add-On is also being used with the form using the PayPal Checkout Add-On. If you are using that add-on, try disabling the integration in the Form Settings > reCAPTCHA area of the form in question.
