Remove saved form without the link gpasc_new_draft=true

Hello, is it possible to reset a form that is being filled out by a user who has activated advanced save and continue, but without using the link that redirects to gpasc_new_draft=true? Could I have a script or any other method to reset the form that does not involve a link in the URL?

Hi Enzo,

The current solution is to use the gpasc_new_draft query parameter with a value of true. I’m unsure if what you’re trying to do is possible, but if you can submit a ticket for this via our support form, we can forward it as a feature request. With that, our developers can look into it and see if what you want is possible and assist with a solution.

Best,

Thank you for your response. What I’m trying to do is that when the user resets a form with gpasc_new_draft=true, I don’t want gpasc_new_draft=true to be visible in the URL. This is because on my form, there’s a login popup on page 6, and when the user logs in, the plugin redirects to the current URL, but since it contains gpasc_new_draft=true, the form gets reset. My form doesn’t use Ajax, but I don’t understand why gpasc_new_draft=true remains visible in the URL even when navigating between pages.

Hi Enzo,

Thanks for the additional information. This will definitely require our developers to look into it, as it may require some changes to the GP Advanced Save and Continue Perk. Can you submit a support ticket for this?

Best,
