Passing a variable vs using conditional logic

Hi GF community. I’ll present my first two questions and explain how I’d like to pass a variable vs use conditional logic for a question flow here:

Question 1): Who is this product for? A): Mom, Dad, Friend
Let’s pretend a user chose “dad” as the answer to Q1…

Question 2): What does your Dad think of xyz…

Rather than create conditional logic questions that pop up based on all possible answers to question 1, I’d like to pass the value from question 1 into future questions. This would naturally save an exponentially long time with longer forms.

How would you recommend doing so?

The Live Merge Tag feature of Gravity Wiz’s Populate Anything perk is the easiest way to achieve this configuration. You can use it inside your field label so “Dad” in question 2 will be dynamically updated based on the answer to question 1.
